Valencia Town Center

  • 200,000 sf GLA expansion / $70 Million

  • Multi-award winning project

Designed to complement both the existing indoor shopping center and Town center drive, the Patios establishes it own unique identity. Aesthetically, the new Patios district takes its cues from the textures and colors of the regions landscape, with its rugged rock outcroppings, and the relaxed style and forms of the local ranch architecture.

The expansion features outward facing restaurants and patios and is organized around a series of interconnected outdoor spaces; such as the Koi pond court, the “living rooms”, and the children’s court. The central Koi pond court is defined by gently curved and textured stone walls which frame the central pond and four mature Tipuana Tipu trees while water plants, flowing grasses and colorful flowers give unique character to the outdoor garden room. The “living rooms” are defined by overhead trellises, which provide much needed shade, and feature luxurious draperies, custom chandeliers, custom concrete and brick pavers, and ample lounge seating grouped around glass filled fireplaces, which provide sparkle and warmth and are popular gathering spots in the cool evenings.
